I know it's been a long time coming now. This is all I ever wanted since I don't even remember when. When the friendships started changing and the songs started fading I knew sooner or later someone was going to call it quits. I don't want to talk about that now. All that matters is the music saved our soul.

There's a scene. There's a place where you can go. You might not get inside. You might not fall in line. There's a punk rock protocol to follow and restrictions set in stone. I don't know if you're gonna go. I don't think you'll fit in. There's a dress code too and you've got to wear what's cool. You're not gonna look as good as everyone if you don't have it on. They're all looking up a stage and singing along with the band. They don't know what the songs really mean and they're getting them second hand.

They've got tricks hidden up their sleeves. Smile, you've been deceived. You're inside so you might as well enjoy the ride. There's a place to be and a place where you can go. I don't know if you'll ever fit in with their fucking scene.
